Printed Perovskite Solar Cells for Large Area User Applications

Solutions developed

PERSEUS develops and demonstrates three large-area PSC module architectures tailored to distinct use cases: single-junction opaque modules, semi-transparent modules, and 4-terminal (4T) perovskite–CIGS tandem modules. These configurations address diverse end-user demands in terms of efficiency, durability, and cost, enabling deployment in floating photovoltaics, building-integrated photovoltaics, agri-PV, and urban energy systems. Each solution will be converted into validated manufacturing blueprints, ready for industrial uptake.

Main results

The project delivers practical manufacturing routes that bridge the gap between lab and market in PSC technology. By providing matched, multi-stage production line designs for each module type, PERSEUS ensures immediate scalability after project completion. The developed architectures position perovskite photovoltaics for accelerated adoption across multiple sectors, reinforcing Europe’s leadership in next-generation solar technologies.
