First EU-Greenland Business Mission on Critical Raw Materials and Renewable Energy
This mission, focusing on Critical Raw Materials (CRM) and Renewable Energy (particular emphasis on hydropower), is jointly organised by the European Commission (DG INTPA, DG GROW, and DG ENER) and the Government of Greenland (Ministry of Industry, Trade, Mineral Resources, Justice and Gender Equality, Ministry of Agriculture, Self-sufficiency, Energy and Environment, and Ministry of Statehood and Foreign Affairs).
The mission will provide an excellent opportunity to explore business prospects in the CRM and renewable energy sectors. Key features of the event include:
- Main conference in Nuuk: Engage in insightful discussions and network with government and industry leaders through dialogue, panel discussions, Government-to-Business (G2B) and Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings.
- Visits to key infrastructure projects: Gain valuable insights from visits to major infrastructure projects in Nuuk, such as the new airport and port.
- Participate in optional site visits: Participate in optional site visits to hydropower plants and mining sites outside of Nuuk.
Due to logistical constraints, the number of participants may be limited. To express your interest in attending the full event, the conference in Nuuk, or the optional site visits to hydropower plants or mines, please contact INTPA-B3@ec.europa.eu. A contractor selected by the organisers will follow up with you for further arrangements.
A detailed agenda for the event will be available by the end of July.
