Final ASTEP Online Workshop – Exploring Our Key Results in Solar Thermal Innovation

The ASTEP project is pleased to invite you to its Final Online Workshop, taking place on Monday, 16 June 2025 at 09:30 CET. This important event marks the culmination of our five-year journey in advancing solar thermal energy for industrial applications.

The workshop will present the project’s Key Exploitable Results, showcasing technological advancements, insights, and lessons learned. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from ASTEP partners as they share the final designs and outcomes of the Sundial collector and integrated solar thermal system, the progress achieved in thermal energy storage, and results on lifecycle and social acceptance assessments. A dedicated session will also highlight the activities of Work Package 7 and a panel discussion with sister projects and key stakeholders will offer broader perspectives and foster collaboration.

The workshop will conclude with a presentation of the Solar Energy Helix by CHX, followed by final remarks from the project coordination team. We are also honored to welcome our European Commission Project Officer, who will be joining us for this final event.
