100% RHC EVENT 2025 / The RHC ETIP Annual Conference

7 May 2025 – Brussels (Belgium)

Join us for the next edition of the 100% RHC event in Brussels, Belgium, on 7 May 2025! Hosted by the European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling, this premier conference will convene stakeholders from renewable heating and cooling sectors, along with platform members and beyond. This full-day event will feature a blend of policy and technical sessions, with contributions from European Commission representatives, industry associations, technical experts, and others. Attendees will also have the opportunity to present best practices from European and national projects focused on renewable heating and cooling. Additionally, a matchmaking session will be held, centered on the upcoming Horizon Europe and LIFE calls.

This event promises to promote a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges across the RHC sectors, facilitating the transition to a sustainable, decarbonised energy future.

Our event is organized in conjunction with the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 Info Day, which will take place on 6 May in Brussels, to foster collaboration and enhance participation.

Call for presentations

This year’s conference will focus on “Collaborative Pathways to Sustainable Heating and Cooling”. The conference will take place on 7 May 2025 in Brussels.

Topics of Interest

We invite presentations on the following topics:

  • Advances, innovations and applications in solar thermal technologies, biomass heating solutions, geothermal energy applications, heat pump technologies, district heating and cooling systems, thermal energy storage solutions
  • Integration of renewable heating and cooling with smart grids and sector coupling
  • Applications of renewable heating and cooling for individual buildings, districts, cities, rural areas, industries
  • Policy and regulatory frameworks for renewable heating and cooling, including social sciences and humanities related aspects
  • Case studies and best practices in renewable heating and cooling projects, including market uptake projects

  • Abstract Submission: Please submit an abstract of no more than 300 words outlining the key points of your presentation.
