100% RHC Event 2026
The 100% RHC event will take place on 16 April 2026, from 11.00 to 12.30, in Graz (Austria), as part of the ISEC conference.
The 90-minute session titled “From Insights to Action: Digitalisation and AI as Enablers for RHC Technologies”, chaired by Marco Calderoni (Chair of RHC-ETIP Board, R2M Solution), will explore how emerging digital tools and artificial intelligence can accelerate the deployment and integration of renewable heating and cooling solutions.
Building on the update of the RHC-ETIP Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), the session also aims to actively involve participants in shaping the updated section on digitalisation. The SRIA serves as a key reference document to highlight the most important priorities for RHC research and innovation and to inform policymakers in Member States and the European Commission about topics that should guide future funding decisions.
After a brief introduction and context-setting, the following three presentations will showcase state-of-the-art developments and practical applications from ongoing projects:
- “Digital tools to optimise the design, operation and maintenance of hybrid solar thermal systems (DigiSolar project)”– Dimitrios Papageorgiou, TVP Solar
- “From Data to Value: Digitalisation for Efficient and Flexible District Heating and Cooling Networks” – Ralf-Roman Schmidt, AIT
- “Affordable, Sustainable and Resilient Heating & Cooling: Powered by Physics-Based MPC” – Lieve Helsen, KU Leuven
