Call for Presentations: 100% RHC Event 2025 (Deadline: 28 February)

The European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC-ETIP) is pleased to announce the call for presentations for its annual conference - the 100% RHC Event 2025. This year's conference will focus on "Collaborative Pathways to Sustainable Heating and Cooling."

About the Conference

The 100% RHC Event 2025 brings together experts, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to discuss the latest advancements and future directions in renewable heating and cooling technologies. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and technical sessions covering a wide range of topics.

Our event is organized in conjunction with the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 Info Day, which will take place on 6 May in Brussels, to foster collaboration and enhance participation.

Topics of Interest

We invite presentations on the following topics:

  • Advances, innovations and applications in solar thermal technologies, biomass heating solutions, geothermal energy applications, heat pump technologies, district heating and cooling systems, thermal energy storage solutions
  • Integration of renewable heating and cooling with smart grids and sector coupling
  • Applications of renewable heating and cooling for individual buildings, districts, cities, rural areas, industries
  • Policy and regulatory frameworks for renewable heating and cooling, including social sciences and humanities related aspects
  • Case studies and best practices in renewable heating and cooling projects, including market uptake projects

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Submission: Please submit an abstract of no more than 300 words outlining the key points of your presentation.
  • New deadline: 28 February 2025

  • Notification of Acceptance: 26 February 2025

Presentation Format

  • Oral Presentations: time of the oral presentation will be defined in the frame of the programme development.
  • Poster Presentations: posters will be displayed throughout the conference, with dedicated sessions for interaction with attendees.

  • Title of the presentation
  • Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Contact information
  • Preferred presentation format (oral or poster)
  • Member of the RHC-ETIP (yes/no)
