RHC-ETIP at the Knowledge Sharing Workshop on 13-14 October

At the Knowledge Sharing Workshop held by CETPartnership in Delft between the 13th and 14th of October 2026, Giulia Cittadini (EGEC), from the RHC-ETIP Secretariat, presented the platform's work on developing a set of KPIs to monitor market and technological trends across renewable heating and cooling technologies.

The proposed framework aims to provide a consistent way of tracking both the development and deployment of technologies and their technological performance and progress. The work covers a range of renewable heating and cooling solutions, including geothermal energy, heat pumps, district heating and cooling, solar thermal, and biomass.

An important part of the work is ensuring that the proposed indicators reflect the needs and perspectives of the sector. Therefore, the conference provided an opportunity to introduce the framework to experts and stakeholders and invite their feedback on the relevance, completeness and prioritisation of the proposed KPIs. The feedback collected will contribute to refining the KPI framework and will feed into an upcoming project deliverable on market and technological trends in renewable heating and cooling technologies.
