Sharing Heat and Knowledge on Energy Communities

Solutions developed

The aim of SHaKE is to develop an educational package of novel district heating and cooling technologies for university students and professionals in district heating branch, local waste heat owners, HVAC, and refrigeration technicians. The transition into efficient energy communities would result in a great deal of energy savings in Europe. The logical framework introduces the general and specific objectives, expected results are presented in Annex I.Overall structure the work plan in Annex II.

Main results

The expected result is several trained students and professionals on the topic of district heating and cooling technologies. The number of them will be rising continuously after the finish of the project, as the developed material is going to be made accessible on the project website and the developed courses will continue both university and adult education platforms. The detailed results and outcomes of the SHaKE (along the indicators) are presented in Annex I.
