The workshop is the final event of the HORIZON2020 European research project Residue2Heat “Renewable residential heating with fast pyrolysis bio-oil”.

Objectives

Presentation of the main achievements of the project and reflection on the lessons learned in relation to renewable residential heating with fast pyrolysis bio-oil (FPBO). Together with the representatives of the residential heating industry and its associations, we would like to foster the exchange of the newest scientific and technical results between industry, researchers, and experts. Challenges and opportunities faced by the renewable residential heating sector in Europe will be discussed.

Target audience

Industry representatives for renewable residential heating and its national and international associations, policy makers, experts from academia and research institutions, and everyone interested in renewable residential heating in a broad sense.
