In 2021, the RHC ETIP is working on a new publication, ‘ the Deployment and implementation study for the RHC sector’. The objective of this strategic document is to obtain an implementation status of the Renewable Heating and Cooling Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda’s priorities among the RHC stakeholders; as well as identify the R&I trends among the stakeholders active in the Renewable Heating and Cooling sector.
In 2020, the experts from the RHC-ETIP worked jointly in a new document, the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda for Climate-neutral Heating and Cooling in Europe. The document identifies the main R&I priorities to address market barriers in the deployment of renewable heating and cooling solutions. The RHC ETIP’s SRIA Twas officially presented at our annual conference, the 100% Renewable Heating and Cooling for a Sustainable Future Event – 100% RHC Event 2020, which the RHC ETIP organised online on the 15th October 2020.
In 2019, the RHC-ETIP prepared its first strategic document, the 2050 Vision for a 100% Renewable Heating and Cooling Sector in Europe. It helps to understand the potential of the various renewable heating and cooling technologies and it shows, through a multidisciplinary approach, the way to follow to achieve a carbon-free HC sector by 2050. Both technical and non-technical issues are discussed, along with the presentation of relevant best cases. The 2050 Vision was presented at the 100% Renewable Heating and Cooling for a Sustainable Future Conference & Workshop, which the RHC ETIP organised on the 28th October in Helsinki, Finland.
