The European Solar Thermal Technology Panel (ESTTP) of the European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling organizes a workshop on “Solar Thermal Energy for Europe 2020” that will take place the 24 & 25 May 2016 in Brussels, Belgium.

The workshop will start at 14h00 on the 7th April and end at 12h00 on the 8th April. All registered participants are invited for a joint dinner on the evening of the 7th, after the brokerage event.

Those interested can also attend a workshop from IEA-Task 54, on the afternoon of the 8th April, right after the end of the ESTTP workshop.

IEA SHC Task 54 Workshop on Price Reduction of Solar Thermal Systems
April 8th, 12:30 - 14:00 in Brussels

This 1.5 hour workshop is hosted by Task 54 of the International Energy Agency's Solar Heating and Cooling Programme (IEA SHC). Task 54 is dedicated to increasing the competitiveness of solar thermal systems by making them more affordable and attractive for the end user. Industry representatives from the solar thermal sector are invited for an active discussion on issues relating to the price reduction of solar thermal systems and technological and economic room for improvement. Experts who interested in this topic or in joining SHC Task 54 are welcome. (
